Can you recommend a desktop replacement laptop? It needs to have an input mic either built in or a port to take one. Budget £400 or less.
Hi DreamerWhat other specs are you looking for? There should be plenty of laptops under 400 bucks and every one of them has a mic input. What other hardware do you need? DVD writer? Blueray reader? Memory requirements?

Thank you for coming back to me.
I need a CD/DVD writer but other than that I am not sure of specs. I will be using it mainly to e-mail, surf the internet, watch videos, listen to music. I need the input mic so that I can record and store sound and the DVD writer so that I can burn sound and video clips that I have uploaded to CD/DVD.
Everyone will have their opinion on what a good computer is but you probably can’t go wrong with the one listed on http://www.amazon.co.uk/G62-B27SA-Notebook-Dual-Core-Processor-Genuine/dp/B004UFOVJM/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1312997011&sr=1-1 . It’s just over $300 and has pretty decent specs for under 400 bucks.
I went and chose an AMD processor for you since that is what I prefer. There are many more models that have the Intel processor in this price range but the one I listed has pretty decent reviews and has your mic port.
