How much difference is there between a TV that runs off 60hz and one that runs at 120hz? Is the difference big? Its time to replace my old tv and want your opinion on it. Thank you
Depends how close you are to the tv and what type of things you watch,
really. If you sit far from the screen the TV refresh rate doesn't really
mean as much because you won't notice it nearly as much. Also if you spend
more time watching the news or golf or something on the discovery channel
you probably don't need the extra refresh rate.
If you watch movies or shows with explosions, car chases, or anything that
has a lot of movement in it you'll see the difference big time. Faster
refresh rate means more smoothness in action scenes. 120hz is really good
and worth getting if you like to watch action.
