I want to run IE from a command prompt. Is there a way to pass a URL to Internet Explorer so it opens the URL by default?
Ie: C:\path_to_ie -k http://www.google.com
Was this answer helpful?
I believe the -k switch only works if you are running it from the RUN dialogue box. If you went into the command line and launched -k I don’t think it’ll process the URL.
To launch internet explorer with a passed URL from the command line you just pass the URL after it.
