I have a Dell latitude D531 laptop and when I type, I keep finding the mouse in the middle of what I have already typed. It isn’t ‘jumping’ around. It is going to where the cursor was initially placed when I started typing.
I have not been able to find the screen to change the sensitivity for the touchpad as you have suggested for a similar problem.
I have bought a different mouse and I still have the same problem. I am running Vista Windows.
If you could help solve this, you might save some of remaining sanity!
